Menulets

See all those little icons along the top right side of the menu bar on your Mac? There's the magnifying glass for Spotlight, the wifi "fan" where you can look at the various wifi networks (and turn wifi on and off), and more.

Technically, they're called "menulets" and along with a passel of system-oriented ones, a lot of third party software (Dropbox, Evernote, etc.) installs them as well.

Menulets can be moved around into whatever order you like. To move the icons, hold down the Command key (the key next to the space bar) and drag the icons one at a time to the left or right where you want them. You won't be able to move the Notifications icon in the top right corner, but everything else is fair game to place in whatever order you prefer.
